COURSES OFFERED |
1. B.A. : Three year course taught in Marathi , Hindi , & English Media covers Macro/ Micro Economics and Indian Economy 2. B.A. (Maths/Statistics): Three year course along with economics. Students have to opt for two science subjects, mathematics and Statistics.
RESEARCH PROGRAMME:
1. Two faculty members are approved supervisors for Ph. D. in Economics. About 15 students are conducting Ph. D. work under them.
2. Dr. S.V. Deshpande has submitted MRP to UGC in the month of June 2009. The topic was on Economics of Dry Port.

DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITY |
1. Dr. K.A. Waghmare, undertakes consultancy of food industry . He is also on the management of EDIFY PUB. School, Nagpur.
2. Dr. S.V.Deshpande is convenor, Women Development Cell of the college, and a member in the Mgnt.of NGO named MATRU SEWA SANGH , Nagpur.
3. Mr. P.C. Bhagat is incharge of NSS and oversees its activities.

EXTENTION SERVICE |
Department has entered into an MOU with the school of Advance Studies, Datta Meghe Group for participatory research in health economics.
