Courses Offered

B.A. Degree Course: Three year degree course consisting of following papers

B.A.: I History of India from earliest time to 1760 A.D.
B.A.: II History of Modern India 1761 to 1960 A.D.
B.A.: III History of Modern World Mid 15th century to Second World War.

Co-Curricular and Extension Programmes

The department of History carries out several programmes which includes the following annual programmes.

I) Annual Festival: Includes Quiz, Poster, elocution, debate competition, visit to legislative assembly, excursions, fancy dress on national leaders.

II) Guest Lectures: The department organizes guest lectures of several prominent personalities related with the contemporary issues of national and international significance.

III) Extention Activities: Includes Blood donation, camps, visits to slums, orphans, street plays performed by the students, charity collections and donations.
